Whether you are re-entering the workforce, would like to enter the workforce for the first time, or looking to move up in your career, GSIL's NH at WORK services can help you achieve your goal for employment in NH.

Our services can assist you finding a job by:

• Identifying your areas of strength and employment goals
• Identifying perceived barriers in the job search process and/or workplace
• Providing internet access for your job search
• Teahing job search skills and techniques
• Assisting with your resume and cover letter preparation
• Improving your interviewing skills
• Conducting skills and interest assessments to match you with appropriate jobs
• Providing confidential assistance with your job search

Here are three ways that we are eligible to assist your NH job search:

1. Ticket to Work:  GSIL is an approved Employment Network (EN) for the Social Security Ticket to Work  Program.  If you're between the ages of 18 and 64, receiving Social Security benefits,and meet the Ticket to Work guidelines GSIL can assist you with your job search.  You'll be provided the services and resources you need to make a smooth transition to work and maintain employment.  You'll also have access to GSIL's Financial Planning for Employment services, so you can increase your income and not worry about the impact on your benefits.

2. NH Vocational Rehabilitation: NH citizens with disabilities between the ages of 16 and retirement, who are clients of NH Vocational Rehabilitation, are eligible to have GSIL assist with attaining employment in NH.  First, a VR counselor will work with you to determine your eligibility and identify your employment goals.  Then a referral can be made to GSIL to work with you towards these goals of finding a job in NH.

3. Employment and Community Supports: NH citizens eligible for services under the NH Department of Health and Human Services - Bureau of Developmental Services may be eligible for support in finding and maintaining employment and participating in work experience opportunities through GSIL’s employment services.  To access these services, the area agency you are connected to can make a referral to GSIL.
